Centrifugal Fans

8300 and 8400 Series Centrifugal Plug Fans are available in Airfoil and Backward Inclined wheel designs.

The 5700 Series heavy duty airfoil fan is intended for use in petrochemical, power generation and pollution control applications where efficient and stable operation are required in complex systems that create a higher static pressure demand.

Each wheel design offers multiple widths and is selected to precisely match the volume and pressure requirements of the specified system.

The 4000 Series heavy-duty backward curved centrifugal fan is manufactured with solid, heavy gauge steel or alloy blades to withstand mildly erosive and high-temperature environments.

The 8500 Series Centrifugal Swingout Fan is aerodynamically identical to the high efficiency 5010 and 5020 Airfoil and Backward Incline wheels available for this design but the housing effectively “swings out” to allow for easy maintenance and cleaning access to the wheel and fan interior.

Radial Tip fan wheels are more efficient than straight Radial blades and are designed to move large volumes of air at moderate to high static pressures. With their ability to handle clean or dirty airstreams, including hot gasses, process exhaust and light particulate matter, they are ideal for pollution control applications.

The 8000 Series are Inline Centrifugal fans which have a housing similar to an axial fan and a wheel similar to a BI or Airfoil centrifugal fan. Typically they are used in medium to low pressure industrial applications where the geometry of a cylindrical housing is more convenient than a conventional centrifugal scroll housing. 8096 is a “Clamshell” design whereby the housing is hinged for easy maintenance access to the wheel, shaft and bearing assembly.
